We hope that you will join us for a fantastic experience! Athletes 14 years and older are eligible to attend the HSU Distance Running Camp on their own or with a team. Athletes under 14 years of age may attend if accompanied by a parent or coach. While the Humboldt Distance Running Camp is open to all levels of ability, space is limited. Registration is accepted on a first come, first served basis. The 2023 registration deadline: July 3. Participants reside in on-campus residence dormitories with comfortable beds and full linen service provided. Clean, private dormitory showers with hot water are a particularly appealing amenity for those used to camps held in camp grounds. Male and female participants will be assigned to separate dormitory floors or wings, under the supervision of adult live-in counselors. Meals are served in the Jolly Giant Complex. Multiple entrées, a full salad bar, and sweet deserts, including soft serve ice cream, allow for a range of tastes. Vegetarian options are always available, and special dietary requirements can be accommodated upon request. PACKAGE PRICING FOR 2023$950 for double occupancy room. $1050 for single occupancy room. *Please note that a discount of $25 per athlete will be extended to schools that bring a group of 15 or more. *Please note that schools that bring 12 or more athletes are allowed one coach to attend and serve as a counselor free of charge. Each package includes housing, 3 "all you can eat" meals per day in the Jolly Giant dining commons, bus transportation to off-campus sites for afternoon runs, access to the Humboldt track stadium and other athletic facilities, a camp T-shirt, and a full week of instruction from the staff of elite coaches.
